Upon completion of an online multimedia degree program, graduates will possess the core knowledge and skill base to work in a variety of different technology positions such as a web development team, an end-user support specialist, a system analyst, and many more. A multimedia degree will include instruction in JavaScript, XML, HTML, and other graphics applications. Graduates will also gain skills and knowledge in the use of authoring tools used to create, edit, and publish documents, sounds, images, and multimedia products. Also included in most online multimedia degree programs is instruction in web page standards and policies, elements of web page design, internet theory, special effects, interactive and multimedia concepts, e-Commerce tools and up-and-coming web technologies.
